Plano & McKinney July 4th Parades – Join us!

The Fourth of July is just around the corner! In spite of 45 and his absolute debacle of a presidency, there is still much to celebrate in our nation, our county, and our cities.
This year, there will be Democratic floats in the parades in both Plano and McKinney, and we’d love for you to be a part of the fun.

The theme for the McKinney float is “The Blue Firecrackers,” and we will meet to decorate the McKinney Float on Monday, June 3, 2017, 4:00- 8:00 pm at Humberto and Carol’s home in Melissa. Please see the map to 322 Melissa Road, Melissa, 75454.
The actual McKinney Parade will begin at 10:00 am on the fourth. If you’d like to be in the parade, please arrive by 8:00 am at the parking lot on N. Tennessee in between Hunt and Lamar.
Please sign up here to decorate or walk in McKinney.
The theme for the Plano Lions Independence Day 4th of July Parade float is “Plano Salutes Heroes,” and we will decorate at the CCDP on July 3rd from 4-8 pm.
The actual Plano Parade will begin at 9:00 am on the fourth. Line up for the parade begins at 6:30 am in the PISD administration building on 15th. The parade will head West on 15th, north on Independence, and East on Parkhaven to Plano Senior High.
We need riders, decorators, and walkers to support our parade efforts. The more the merrier! Please come have a spectacular fourth with your fellow Dems and help us increase our momentum and visibility in Collin County.
