There are Four Statutory Committees that Convene at Democratic Conventions.
There are four types of committees at the Democratic Conventions. The Resolutions Committee is a Statutory Committee chaired by Robert Miller. Anyone can serve on the Committee. If you are interested in being a committee member, email the chair at email@example.com. The function of the Resolutions Committee is to recommend to the body what resolutions the County or Senate District Convention should forward to the State Convention for consideration.
The resolutions Committee will meet before the Convention on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the CCDP Office. Anyone may submit one or more resolutions for the committee to consider. Download this form and send to firstname.lastname@example.org
Here is an example of a Resolution submitted in 2014: A Resolution in Support of the Reinstatement of Glass-Steagall
Descriptions of the Rules, Nominations and Credentials Committees can be found here.
Meet fellow Democrats who share your interests and plan action for the future. The caucuses also meet at the State Convention.
