Regardless of your interests or where you live, there's probably a Democratic Club or group where you would feel at home. Here's the latest list of clubs and groups that are based primarily in the county.

Drinking/Living Liberally

Drinking Liberally groups are part of the national Living Liberally network and not affiliated with the Democratic Party. However, we are aligned by shared values, and Party activists often attend. We list them here to encourage liberal discussions and connections around the County.

Liberally gatherings start at 6:30 Friday evenings and usually last a few hours. Come when you can make it!

  • Drinking Liberally Richardson – Second Friday at The String Bean, 1310 W. Campbell east of Coit.
  • Drinking Liberally Frisco/Little Elm – Third Friday at Rotate Bar & Kitchen, 5454 Main St #123. Join their Facebook group for any updates.
  • Drinking Liberally Murphy/Wylie – Third Friday at Backyard Murphy, 217 E. FM 544 (aka 14th St in Plano). More information on Facebook.

While these gatherings are more about talking than drinking, if you do choose adult beverages, do so responsibly, and make liberal use of designated drivers or rideshare companies as needed.
