The Democratic Party of Collin County Coordinated Campaign Committee has organized this event for all precinct chairs, candidates, and any Collin Democrats interested in attending. All are invited to attend one of two sessions to discuss GET OUT THE VOTE (GOTV) strategies, and how to maximize our use of the Voter Activation Network (VAN) to win on November 4, 2014. The event is at the Collin College for Higher Learning in McKinney, Texas, 3452 Spur 399, McKinney, TX 75069, in Room 200. The CCHL facility is located across the highway from the McKinney Medical Center complex. There are two sessions(9am to noon and 1pm to 4pm) and you can sign up for either session.
Rachel Perry, TX Democratic Party Regional Political Director, will be the featured presenter. Rachel is a VAN expert and will focus on features of VAN (including several new ones) and ways to maximize your use of VAN to work your precinct and get out the vote in November. She has trained many times and will be allowed ample time to demonstrate and answer all questions.
Michael Handley and Barb Walters will facilitate and focus discussion on what actions you can take for a win in November. Saturday August 16 will begin the 80-day countdown to November 4. If we have everyone involved, we can win.
RSVP for one of 2 sessions here 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It will be at the Collin College Higher Education Center (at 121 and 75) where the last CEC meeting was held. (Map) (Directions)
