MEDIA ADVISORY: Collin County Democratic Party to Host “Revelry & Rebirth” Gala, Key
Election-Year Fundraiser

WHO: The Collin County Democratic Party (CCDP), featuring keynote speaker James Talarico,
elected officials, candidates, and 300 community leaders and activists. We’re excited to
showcase prominent supporters of the Democratic Party, including a wife, whose husband, a
political refugee from Venezuela, was unlawfully detained at his scheduled ICE check-on.

WHAT: Revelry & Rebirth: A Democratic Mardi Gras, the party’s premier fundraising gala of
the 2026 election cycle. This event is a critical opportunity to cover the party’s efforts to build
resources, celebrate its volunteer base, and energize supporters for the campaign to flip Collin
County blue.

WHEN: Saturday, February 7, 2026
● 5:30 PM: VIP Reception (Limited media access available)
● 6:30 PM: Dinner and main program

WHERE: The Historic McKinney Cotton Mill, 610 Elm St, McKinney, TX 75069

WHY: This event is a major focal point for Democratic organizing in North Texas. Proceeds
directly fund the Get-Out-The-Vote operations and grassroots organizing essential for
competitive races in Texas’s most critical battleground county. The tone will blend celebration of
Democratic values with urgency for the November elections.
