Local Democrats schedule protest at Fallon office

Civic action to mirror protest at office of Keith Self

(COLLIN COUNTY) March 21, 2025 – Completing the promise made to Collin County constituents to hold all politicians and elected officials to their sworn duty, volunteers affiliated with the Collin County Democratic Party, in conjunction with volunteers from the local chapter of 50501 (50 protests, 50 states, 1 day), have finalized plans for an in-person protest at the office of Representative Pat Fallon on Saturday, March 22.

The gathering, similar to the civic action which took place at the office of Representative Keith Self on Sunday, March 16, will occur at the local office of Congressman Pat Fallon, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. in Frisco, on Saturday, March 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. Specific instructions on the exact location of the protest will be shared at the event.

“The Pat Fallon protest action, like all others sponsored by the Collin County Democratic Party, will be peaceful and non-violent,” says Chair Jeremy Sutka. “We encourage attendees to bring signs expressing their frustrations with how Representative Fallon’s actions are harming our nation, our cities, and our communities. We believe that protests and other peaceful civic actions are the only way to get attention to what’s happening.”

Representative Self recently hosted a local town hall meeting where he was roundly heckled by attendees. His policy decisions, congressional votes, comments, and behavior have come under wide scrutiny because of his public support of the divisiveness, cruelty, and callous dismantling of some of the federal government’s critical social programs. Representative Fallon has expressed a similar tone, offering full support of the current administration’s reprehensible actions.

Individuals wishing to participate in the protest on Saturday at the office of Pat Fallon are encouraged to sign up via  https://www.mobilize.us/collindemocrats/event/763155/.

“As with the protest on March 16 at the office of Keith Self, we expect some to see about 100 to 150 people at the Fallon protest. Our hope is to make an impactful statement that people, from all walks of life and all political persuasions, expect our representatives to respect the wishes of their communities,” added Sutka. “That’s truly what our democracy stands for.”
