Resistance Roundtable Success!

Resistance Roundtable

Participatory democracy was in full display on Saturday, March 8 at the John and Judy Gay Library in McKinney as the Collin County Democratic Party hosted the first Resistance Roundtable. Over 100 people attended the two-hour event, adding their voices to the ever growing chorus for justice, compassion, and a return to civility in this country.

“We will resist  the full-throated assault on our nation’s founding principles in loud but peaceful ways,” said Collin County Democratic Party Chair Jeremy Sutka. “What we see playing out in Washington, with the full endorsement of the Republican Party, is disgraceful and degrading. We cannot sit idly by and let this happen without resistance. Join us!”

More Resistance Roundtables will be scheduled soon. Watch our social media sites for information. Resist!
